UTHealth
The mission of the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston is to educate health science professionals, discover and translate advances in the biomedical and social sciences, and model the best practices in clinical care and public health.

School of Biomedical Informatics
The mission of The University of Texas School of Biomedical Informatics is to educate future scientists and professionals in biomedical informatics and health information technology, conduct informatics research to improve health care and advance biomedical discovery and develop advanced informatics tools to solve problems in health care.

School of Dentistry
The mission of The University of Texas School of Dentistry is to advance human health by providing high-quality education, patient care, and research in oral health for Texas, the nation and the world

Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences
The mission of The University of Texas Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at Houston is to train and educate research scientists and scientist-educators, to generate new knowledge in the biomedical sciences, and to increase public understanding of science. 

Medical School
The mission of The University of Texas Medical School at Houston is to provide the highest quality of education and training of future physicians for the state of Texas, in harmony with the state’s diverse population; to conduct the highest caliber of research in the biomedical and health sciences; and to provide exemplary clinical services in relationship to our educational and discovery activities. 

School of Nursing
As part of a comprehensive health science university, the mission of the School of Nursing is to educate nurse clinicians and scientists, discover and translate advances in the biomedical and social sciences, and model best practices and innovation in clinical care regionally, nationally and globally. We pursue this mission in order to improve quality of care and the health and well-being of individuals, groups, communities. 

School of Public Health
The mission of The University of Texas School of Public Health is to improve and sustain the health of people by providing the highest quality graduate education, research and community service for Texas, the nation, and the world; to provide quality graduate education in the basic disciplines and practices of public health; to extend the evidence base within those disciplines; and to assist public health practitioners, locally, nationally, and internationally, in solving public health problems.
