The 2025-2030 Dietary Guidelines: Insights, Updates, and Real-World Application

Event Description

The 2025-2030 Dietary Guidelines for Americans (DGAs) were released in January 2026. These Guidelines are important because they guide the implementation of U.S. food and assistance programs, underpin nutrition education efforts, are used by manufacturers for food formulations and advertising, and provide nutrition information and dietary guidance for non-dietitian health professionals. This presentation will provide insights into the DGA process, updates on the new Guidelines, and practical implementation strategies for dietitians and health professionals.
