Syndemics of Occupational Safety: The Case of U.S. Long-Haul Truck Drivers | Tuesday, June, 16, 12 - 1 PM CST Join the Texas Violence & Injury Prevention Research Center for an insightful presentation highlighting National Safety Month. This presentation will examine the complex occupational health challenges faced by long-haul truck drivers across the United States. Dr. Lemke will discuss the multilevel factors that influence driver safety, while highlighting the far-reaching consequences for workers and public health. Speaker: Michael Lemke, PhD, Assistant Professor in Department of Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences at the UTHealth School of Public Health (San Antonio), and he is affiliated with the Southwest Center for Occupational & Environmental Health.
