Join us for the next Arts & Resilience Lecture Series on Wednesday, November 11, at 12:00 PM via Zoom, featuring McGovern Center Artist-in-Residence Laura Spector in conversation with acclaimed contemporary painter Alyssa Monks. Known for her evocative, large-scale figurative paintings, Monks explores themes of vulnerability, resilience, human connection, and the emotional complexities of everyday life. Her work has been exhibited internationally and is recognized for its striking realism and psychological depth.
