Dr. Marsden is a trained scientist and former postdoctoral fellow, bringing a valuable perspective on the postdoctoral experience and a strong commitment to supporting the success of postdoctoral scholars. She has a robust background in research program leadership, trainee development, and collaborative, multi-institutional initiatives. Since joining the Gulf Coast Consortia in 2021, she has played a key role in developing and managing research programs, advancing trainee-focused initiatives, and supporting grant development and scientific writing efforts. Most recently, as Interim Director of Research, she demonstrated a thoughtful and team-oriented leadership style. These experiences uniquely position her to drive forward innovative professional development initiatives and expand meaningful career advancement opportunities for our postdoctoral community.
