Bela Patel, M.D., specializes in the care of critically ill patients and pulmonary disease. Her areas of focus include patient safety, quality improvement and the science of healthcare delivery. Her research interests include pulmonary hypertension, critical care lung injury and implementation science. Patel graduated from the UTHealth Medical School and also completed her residency and fellowship there.
