  • University Housing consists of three unique apartment communities.

2025 Waiting List Information

March 14, 2025, at 6 PM – Priority access opens for UT Learners (FT Students, Residents, and Postdocs affiliated with UT and MD Anderson).

March 21, 2025, at 6 PM – The waitlist opens for All Others, including BCM and Employees.

March 28, 2025, at 6 PM – The waiting list officially closes!

Why University Housing?

University Housing consists of three unique apartment communities:

  • Phase I (7900 Cambridge) – Built in 1982, offering first and second-floor units with one, two, and three-bedroom floor plans.
  • Phase II (1885 El Paseo, built in 2005) and Phase III (1885 El Paseo, built in 2014) – Contemporary-style apartments with four floors of one and two-bedroom units and a four-story parking garage.

All students, staff, and faculty of UTHealth, Baylor College of Medicine (BCM), and MD Anderson Cancer Center are encouraged to apply for Phase I and II. Phase III is available only to full-time UTHealth students.

Each apartment is carpeted and includes an all-electric kitchen. The El Paseo properties feature in-unit washers and dryers, while the Cambridge property provides three laundry facilities with coin and credit card-operated washers and dryers.

Additional amenities include:

  • 24-hour quality maintenance
  • A clubhouse
  • Convenient access to the UTHealth Recreation Center
  • Shuttle service (free for UTHealth Students; available for purchase by others)
  • 24-hour guarded access
