The Clinical Innovation and Translational Nursing Science Core serves as a vital hub for fostering collaboration between academic researchers and partner health systems, including UT Physicians. With a focus on enabling translational nursing science to promote evidence-based care, this core facilitates access to data, patients, and research sites for institute members, supports scholarly endeavors of Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) prepared faculty, and fosters collaborative partnerships between PhD and DNP researchers within the TMC.
Goals
- Facilitate access and collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with partner health systems to facilitate access to data, patients, and research sites for institute members.
- Support scholarly projects: Provide comprehensive support and resources to DNP-prepared faculty members to enhance their scholarly projects and quality improvement initiatives.
- Foster multidisciplinary collaboration: Facilitate meaningful partnerships and collaborations between PhD researchers and DNP clinicians to promote translational research efforts in nursing clinical science and enable the testing and implementation of evidence-based practice.
