Join Our Team

The Office of Development advances the mission of UTHealth by seeking and securing philanthropic support for its programs in service to students and society. The office comprises four giving programs—Annual Giving, Corporate and Foundation Relations, Major and Principal Gifts, and Gift Planning, as well as offices in each of the six schools and major institutes.

Assistant Director of Gift Administration
Responsible for overseeing the administration of charitable contributions to the university in accordance with donor intent and UTHealth policies, and in adherence with IRS rules and regulations governing contributions.

Assistant Director of Gift Assurance
Writes gift agreements and monitors the use of charitable gifts to the university, with a particular emphasis on endowment gifts. Responsible for developing strategies to maximize the effectiveness of the Gift Assurance program, managing day-to-day operations of the Gift Assurance program, and providing direction and training to Gift Assurance Officers.

Multimedia Specialist
Develops and provides web-based multimedia content and services in support of the online marketing and communications strategies of the Office of Public Affairs.

Senior Director of Development - Director, Development III
Develops, implements, and evaluates comprehensive fundraising and advancement efforts for identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major gifts, planned gifts, endowments, and annual giving programs to benefit the schools within UTHealth. Serves as a team leader, managing, coaching, and mentoring other gift officers to include assistant, associate, and director levels.

Data Management Analyst
Responsible for data accuracy, integrity, and security of all constituent records, and for maintaining and enhancing the highly confidential data of the Office of Development’s database system (Raiser’s Edge).
