UTHealth Houston Recreation Center Staff
The goal of the Recreation Center staff is to provide valuable facilities, programs and services that contribute to the improvement and enhancement of the quality of life for our students and members. A variety of activities are offered and designed for health and fitness as well as for fun and relaxation.
Student-Staff Part-Time Positions
Looking for a campus position to work around your school schedule? The Recreation Center hires students of UTHealth Houston to manage our Membership Desk during the evenings and weekends. Shifts vary from 5 to 10PM and weekends with an opening shift or closing shift. Must be available some Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays to apply. Other availability is a plus! Students are limited to 19.5 hours per week maximum. We continually accept applications and will reach out anytime a position opens up.
Requirements and Responsibilities:
- Must be a current student at UTHealth Houston.
- Cannot be employed in another position at UTHealth Houston, even if it's less than 19.5 hours.
- Current CPR/AED certification but we will train/certify, if needed.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a face paced environment.
- Initiate tasks and perform duties without direction.
- Willingness to learn and be a team player!
